How do I write a review article?

Answer: the best thing to do for this is make sure you have a bit of time set aside and to get reading! start doing pub med searches on the topic, look at cochrane reviews, read recent articles on the topic in journals of forensic pathology...the idea is that you will be writing a review on the must current research available on that topic. so find yourself all the most recent stuff you can and get reading! then, once you're done with your reading, you start to write about what all the different reviews said. that way, if someone wants to know about the topic and mass identification, they can turn to your article, and know that while some sources disagree, most sources think that you should do this that or the other. does that make sense?
if you're still confused or unsure, take a look at the review articles from last year. the editor's pick for last year was the review article on bariatric surgery and it was really well done. hopefully that should give you some ideas of what we are looking for. Good luck!
